I'M BACK!!!! I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As RL starts to settle back into place I guess SL will as well. Have been very busy the past few weeks in both lives but my first post back should be mine and Dereks new project.
I would like to introduce to everyone Sky River Landing. We have both always talked about finding a place to make friends and hang out in SecondLife without any other expectations than to just make friends. It seems like you go to a club or a sim of any sort and all you end up with is IMs from the opposite sex with rude comments or being hit on. The unwanted attention can be so annoying that you often give up enjoying your time. We have set out on this journey together to create something that we feel is special and a part of us. Sky River is something of a safe haven for those who just want to enjoy their hobbies or others in SL without it always turning sexual. Yes, I said it! Not Sexual!
We have added a little bit of everything that we love in SL. We have a small cafe with tables and chairs set up to socialize with friends or just hang out and meet new ones who happen to pop up. Also, there is greedy and photography spots set up all along the area with some beautiful scenery that will give you a calm relaxing feeling. Please take the LM up top and I hope you enjoy this place as much as we do! :) TOOTLES
